The Firetower is a quick 15 minute walk from the parking area. It's LOS to Monadnock, Pack (North & South) Monadnock, Wachussett, etc. You can see five or six ski areas in Vermont. Due to a fire there in the 40's, there are *no* trees. I'm going to make a stop there this summer for 10 GHz... if I find time to get the xverter completed :)

Magnetic Declination (Variation)
Magnetic Declination, sometimes called Variation (especially in the aircraft world), is the difference between True North and Magnetic North. It is expressed in the number of degrees difference between the two directions and on which side of True North you will find Magnetic North.
